As my back ached from supporting the weight of my bass drum - I was relieved from the pain with every passing friend who waved at me as if they were attempting to signal a plane floating in the clouds. It was a display of love with an eternal seal.

It lifted my spirit to new heights when I became aware of how many people are genuinely rooting for me. 

And suddenly the lump in my throat has vanished.
